Critical Conversations
Critical Conversations are designed to have a 5 point purpose:
-
Spark dialogue with community stakeholders and thought leaders while engaging the community through solution building with the goal of identifying traumas unique to the African American and other under-served communities
-
Highlight minority businesses, authors, artists, etc. through sponsorship and product raffles held at these events
-
Provide a growing network of resources with a primary focus on the African American and under-served populations to promote healing and growth for diverse traumas unique to those communities
-
Identify not-for-profit organizations that focus on under-served communities and liaise to raise funds during key events
-
Continue the conversations through social media, podcasts, publications and ongoing follow-ups around select topics
Our conversations are designed for diverse audiences. We also have youth-based programs with teen collaborators.
